NotasJust the length of time it lasted was fascinating. Normally a blink and you will miss a shooting star. I had enough time to ask my son if he sees it and point at it, and he was able to observe it as well. Maybe around 3 full seconds. Longest shooting star I have ever seen.

NotasIt streaked across the sky bright white with a light green turquoise flair leaving a white tail with orange sparks. At the end of the duration it dimmed Then flashed bright white and orange

NotasI saw orange sparks in the tail, when it initially caught my eye it was similar to how a bottle rocket looks, leaving a streak with orange sparks the streak was bright and so was the meteor. It came to an end with a flash or 2 white and orange. The flashes happened much faster then the entire event.
