It was really really bright. As I said earlier I initially thought it was an aircraft fire and exploding

The whole episode took no more than 5 secs. It was a bright cloudless night and I was hoping to see the Aurora Borealis. This fireball was directly under Orions Belt. So as earlier it was in the SW. Saw the trail of something then a very bright flash, and fragmentation. We have aircraft here at altitude and I thought it was an aircraft crashing.
