NotasI have been fortunate to have seen several instances of this type of entry over the years in and around Calgary, but this was by far the brightest and lit up the entire sky and ground. It's hard to say exactly where it may have impacted the ground but it looked like it was heading towards Ferintosh, above the Camrose area. Thanks.

NotasAs the fireball lit up, it expanded in size(appeared to) and then started breaking up in to several pieces and then the brightness faded to zero all in about 3-4 seconds.

Notasit broke up as it entered the field of view, see above comment as well. It looked like it was coming right towards little beaver lake but was likely further out than that. Approx 3 to 5 visable pieces broke up it appeared.
